Cancellation & Refund Policy
At AK Notary, we respect your time and are committed to providing fast, reliable online notary services. To keep things running smoothly and serve all clients effectively, we have put in place the following cancellation and refund policy.
Loan Signing Appointments

Loan signing appointments canceled after documents have been printed may be subject to print and/or travel fees.

Additional fees may apply for second trips caused by signer scheduling changes, missing identification, or incomplete documentation not caused by the notary.
Mobile Notary Appointments

Clients may cancel or reschedule a mobile notary appointment at no charge with at least 2 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 2 hours notice will result in forfeiture of any fees paid.

If the signer does not have valid, unexpired government-issued identification at the time of the appointment, any fees paid are non-refundable.

Completed notarial acts are non-refundable.
Remote Online Notary (RON) Appointments

Payment is required before a Remote Online Notary (RON) appointment is confirmed.

Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment at no charge with at least 2 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 2 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the paid appointment fees.

No-show appointments will result in forfeiture of the full appointment fees.

Completed online notarizations are non-refundable.
Right to Refuse Service

AK Notary Signings reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including but not limited to improper identification, incomplete documentation, suspected fraud, unsafe environments, inappropriate behavior, or requests that violate notarial laws or regulations.

By scheduling an appointment, the client acknowledges and agrees to this cancellation and refund policy.
